The consistency of these 4 hour visits for the first 2-3 months allows me to provide the family with a cushion of support for the full fourth trimester. Assistance with infant care, household organization, sibling care, rest/personal time for mom, and food prep are all included. The benefits of a longer length of support should result in more assurance, confidence, energy and strength at the end of the doula service.
