Meet Lindsay
Born and raised in Norfolk, VA, Lindsay Davenport has always had a passion for working with babies and children. This attraction led her to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education and subsequent 5 year career as an Elementary School teacher. After marrying another Norfolk native, Lindsay put her job on hold for 10 years to focus on raising her 3 children. Meeting mothers living in Norfolk and living away from their families, many due to the Navy, Lindsay began trying to think of a way to assist her friends going through postpartum alone. As a result, she has created Doula Lindsay 757 to feed her desire to assist new moms, provide educated infant care, and fulfill her goals to make positive contributions to the lives of others. Lindsay is a DONA postpartum certified doula.

Doula Lindsay 757 was created with the DONA International scope of practice in mind. Lindsay’s primary focus is assisting with new mothers’ postpartum recovery by offering understanding emotional support, guidance for physical healing, facilitation of family communication, informed infant care, breastfeeding help and referrals for any necessary resources. Lindsay will tailor her services to the needs of your family. The best way to increase the benefit of support is to schedule a consultation before your baby’s arrival and book early. Lindsay will only be serving 1-2 families at a time, depending on the needs of each family.
